Summer Fun and Babies

Hey all! It's been a busy couple of weeks so I thought it was about time to update my blog. Yesterday was a great day! My best friend Lyndsey had her baby! As of last night he didn't have a name yet but he is so adorable. Quinnlee was so excited to meet him for the first time, they will be great friends!

Quinnlee and I went with Lyndseys Mom and Sisters to Jensen's Grove in Blackfoot for the day yesterday. The lake was freezing cold but Quinnlee didn't skip a beat. She had so much fun!

Last Friday Quinnlee and I needed to get out of the house she we drove to Murtaugh to visit my sister-in-law Tara and Quinnlee's cousins. Quinnlee loves her cousins, especially cousin Grant who is her same age. They play pretty well togeter... as well as babies know how to play with eachother. This is them in the tub having a blast!
It has been a great couple of weeks. The webb family is growing ever so rapidily with 7 babies that will be born within the next few months (I'm not one of them... PHEEWWW!) 2 of them being TWINS! We are so excited for all these precious babies to come into our lives. Quinnlee is 10 months as of the 26th. She has such a fun personality and she is so smart. She is such a happy baby and is always making us laugh. She's not to interested in the walking thing but she gets around perfectly well by crawling. She is such a busy baby and it's so fun watching her figure things out on her own. She loves playing with her friends/cousins and she loves to be outside. It is going to be a great summer!

Our baby and our home

It's been a while since my last post so it's major picture overload. Here is what we've been up too lately. Quinnlee is now crawling everywhere and getting into everything. She pulls herself up to everything and she is loving life. She has 8 teeth, and more on the way as we speak. She dances everytime she hears a song and she sings along with the music. Quinnlee loves to make us laugh and she does a great job at it. She has such a fun and spunky personality. When we're at the grocery store she will wave at every boy she see's, and she's already a little flirt. Man are we in TROUBLE?! She claps evertime her daddy walks through the door, even when she's had a cranky day, her attitute instantly changes when daddy's home. Quinnlee loves to be outside and anywhere public. She is so observant of everthing and I can just see her wheels spinning when she discovers new things. She is a great signer and is very good at telling us what she wants or doesnt want. She copies whatever we say or do and she LOVES to talk (I think she gets that from me). She says mama, and she's very good at her 'K' sounds. So when I say "Quinnlee, do you want a snack?" She will say "ACK". Or when she puts something in her mouth that she shouldn't, I will say "Yuck" then she will say "uck". Yesterday I was reading her her book about puppies and I could have sworn she said 'dog'. I wasn't sure so I asked her agian "what is this" she said 'dog'. It might just be my imagination but my 9 month old is super smart! We love you baby girl!

Where's Quinnlee?

There she is!!

Blue-eyed girl

I went downstairs to crab something, I was only gone for a minute and when I came back this is what I found. She was happy so I just had to laugh.

Quinnlee LOVES to look at her reflection in the mirror. She just discovered her reflection on the dishwasher and she was in heaven.

Jacob and I were working in the yard... Quinnlee was so happy to be outside on this warm beautiful day.

Watching Daddy work... I taught her that!Jacob has been working so hard to finish our basement, and after a long time coming, IT"S FINISHED!!! We love it so much so I wanted to show it off to whomever wants to see it. I don't have any before pictures becasue i'm an idiot and didn't take any but believe me when I said it needed ALOT of work! So these are the stairs that go into the basement.

This is the bedroom upstairs that Jake and I and Quinnlee shared. Now it is our guest/junk room.

The stairs go right into our bedroom. It's not intended to be a bedroom but with a little improvisions that is what is it.

Don't mind the towel over the window, I just haven't got curtains yet. This is our room, and as you can see to the left is our very own bathroom.

And on the right is our very big closet.

And it looks like this. This is just my side, Jacob has a little corner on the other side. He doesn't have as much stuff as I do.

This is our bathroom.

And the shower.
Right when you come off the stairs, this is the hallway to Quinnlee's room and the storage room.

This is Quinnlee's very first bedroom of her very own. It's not decorated yet but I am getting a new crib bedding set so I can decorate according to that. I can't wait!

This is her closet. I know, her changing table doesn't match her crib, but it was free so i'm not complaining.

And this is the storage room. It is crammed full of stuff but it's so nice to have.

We also have a laundry room that I didn't take a picture of. It still need some work but it works for now. So there is it, the nearly finished product. It has been so nice to have all the extra space and it will be especially nice in the summer because we don't have A/C but it stays nice and cool in the basement. We are so blessed to have all these resources to live so comfortably.

Our Sweet Girl

Quinnlee just got 4 new teeth at the same time. While she was teething, she loved to chew on pickles because she liked the texture and the cold on her gums.

This was Jacob after sanding the walls in the basement. What a good husband!

Messy eater!

So I never really was a dog person until I met our friends Justin and Lyndsey. This is their dog Zeus. He is the best dog in the world and he is so good with Quinnlee. They have so much fun together and they are best friends. I'm still afraid of most dogs but I love Zeus like he was my own. We love watching them together... just look how sweet they are!

They love to give eachother kisses. At first it really grossed me out, but they just love eachother so much!

This is Quinnlee's pillow pet that she got from her Great-Grandparents Webb and she loves it. Sometimes she rides it like a horse! Quinnlee loves it when her daddy pulls her around in the blanket ...and when he reads to her! She loves the toy bin more than the toys themselves

After Quinnlee wakes up from her naps, she will sit in her crib and play. I never know how long she's been awake for. She's great at entertaining herself.... most of the time!

Not much has happened in the past couple weeks. As I mentioned before Quinnlee got 4 new teeth then she got a nasty cold. It's been a long couple of weeks but she's finally feeling better. Our basement is all but complete! We're hoping to be moving down there soon. Jacob has put in so many hours down there and I am so grateful for his hard work. I wish I had before and after pictures to show but I don't have any. I'm not good at remembering to take pictures of our big projects (and there have been a lot) so we are kicking ourselves.

We had a wonderful Mother's day weekend. Spent Saturday night at Jacob's Mom's house and Sunday at my parents house. We got our family pictures taken, thanks to my wonderful cousin McKell and I cant' wait to see them! My brother Eric is leaving for Michigan next week for a four month intership and we are going to miss him so much but we know he will have so much fun and learn a lot. We love you Uncle Eric!

Easter weekend

This Easter weekend was so wonderful. Quinnlee and I went to Boise with my parents for my cousin Brittany's wedding. Jacob couldn't come because he had to work on the basement but we had a great time. We drove to Boise on Friday and did a little shopping at the outlet mall. Then we went to our hotel. My Aunt and Uncle were being sealed to their family (my cousins) in the temple that night, but I didn't have anyone to watch Quinnlee so we stayed at the hotel while my parents went to the temple. I took Quinnlee swimming but the water was freezing cold, she still had a blast but I decided to take her to our room where we both took a nice warm bath. After the temple sealing, my parents came and got us and we went to dinner. The next morning my cousin Brittany was married in the Boise temple and it was a beautiful wedding! We then went to the luncheon then started on our drive home. We were able to stop in Twin to see Justin and Kallie and Ele, and I'm so glad we did! Quinnlee loves cousin Elexia. We drove home and Quinnlee and I came home to Jacob to see all the hard work he did on the basement. It looks so good and it's almost finished!
Our friends/neighbors invited us over for Easter dinner. It was so nice of them and the food was awesome. We got to see thier cute little bunnies they got from the Easter bunny and Quinnlee loved them! We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and neighbors!
Here are a few pictures from our weekend!

Quinnlee and her cousin Elexia

This is my cousin Kai... as you can see, Quinnlee LOVED him!

Quinnlee and Grandma Cathi at the Temple

Grandpa Mark and Quinnlee at the temple. Notice the little "ears" coming out of the top of Quinnlee's head. She picked some pretty flowers at the temple.

Sunday morning Jacob put Quinnlee in bed with us. She was still pretty tired so she fell back to sleep like this. She's so funny!
