Easter weekend

This Easter weekend was so wonderful. Quinnlee and I went to Boise with my parents for my cousin Brittany's wedding. Jacob couldn't come because he had to work on the basement but we had a great time. We drove to Boise on Friday and did a little shopping at the outlet mall. Then we went to our hotel. My Aunt and Uncle were being sealed to their family (my cousins) in the temple that night, but I didn't have anyone to watch Quinnlee so we stayed at the hotel while my parents went to the temple. I took Quinnlee swimming but the water was freezing cold, she still had a blast but I decided to take her to our room where we both took a nice warm bath. After the temple sealing, my parents came and got us and we went to dinner. The next morning my cousin Brittany was married in the Boise temple and it was a beautiful wedding! We then went to the luncheon then started on our drive home. We were able to stop in Twin to see Justin and Kallie and Ele, and I'm so glad we did! Quinnlee loves cousin Elexia. We drove home and Quinnlee and I came home to Jacob to see all the hard work he did on the basement. It looks so good and it's almost finished!
Our friends/neighbors invited us over for Easter dinner. It was so nice of them and the food was awesome. We got to see thier cute little bunnies they got from the Easter bunny and Quinnlee loved them! We are so blessed to have wonderful friends and neighbors!

Sunday morning Jacob put Quinnlee in bed with us. She was still pretty tired so she fell back to sleep like this. She's so funny!

Fun with family and friends

I'm not very good at keeping up with my blog these days... so here is what we are up too.

Jacob's business is still doing amazing. Between that and coming home and finishing our basement, he stayes super busy. Although we wish we could spend more time with him, we are so grateful for the hard worker that he is. Plus, we are one step closer to having our own room again!

As for me.. I stay pretty busy keeping up with Quinnlee. I have also started couponing... i'm not very good yet but i'm learning and getting some killer deals. I just got put in as the ward camp director for our ward, but have no clue what I am doing, and I am also the achievement day leader for the 8-12 year olds. I love those girls! Who would have thought that being a stay-at-home Mom would be so busy? It's a good thing, otherwise, with this crazy weather, Quinnlee and I would go CRAZY! We are so looking forward to warm weather and walks to the park. It's just can't come soon enough! Anyway.... on to the real reason I blog.

Quinnlee is 1 week shy of 8 months. She weighs 17 lbs and 14 oz. and is 28 1/4 in. long. Her Dr. said today that she is right on track developmentally and physically. I just can't believe how fast she is growing. I love watching her learn new things. She is so curious you can almost see her wheels turning in her head as she figures things out. Quinnlee makes us laugh everyday and there is not a day that goes by that we don't count our blessing for our precious little girl. Here are a few things she loves......

Her Daddy spoils her and lets her sleep in bed with him when it's his turn to get up with her. It's sad to say that she actually sleeps better when it's his turn, but I refuse to cave!

It is so fun having cousins on both sides so close to Quinnlee's age. I am so excited for them to grow up together and become best friends just like I was with my cousins. Those where great memories that I will always have and I am so happy that Quinnlee has the same great opportunity as I did to have great family as great friends! We love you all!
