Summertime Fun

I am officially the worst blogger of all time. Its a good thing I have a great sister-in-law to remind me to update it every once in a while. We had such a fun summer this year. We stayed busy and had such a fun time with friends and family. My pictures are in no certain order but here are a few things we did this summer. My Dad took Quinn and I to the Burley Fair and Rodeo. Quinn loved it, she has found a new love of horses. We spent a ton of time at my parents house, that is were we went when we didn't want to be home and had nothing else to do. Quinn sure loves playing with her Grandma and helping Grandpa outside.

I put Quinn in two different sessions of swim lessons. The first was a mommy and me class that I did with her. She loved being in the water and even swam under the water holding her breathe. This was great one-on-one time I got to spend with her, since we haven't had much of that since Abby was born. We just got to play in the water together while the teacher taught a few tips here and there. I then decided she didn't need me so I signed her up to be in the level one class. She LOVES the water and has become a little fish.
These are my cute girls around the time of 4th of July.
Quinn has gained quite the personality. She loves to change her clothes (like 50X a day) and she's got spunk  that just makes me laugh(most days).
I have been going through all my pictures and it amazes me how much she has grown just in the last 7 months since we had Abby.
This year was Jacob's 10 year High School Reunion so he was in the Declo Days Parade. We have stayed pretty close with some of Jacob's friends from High School and we all had babies around the same time. These cute kids are great friends so it makes it so fun when we all get together.

Yes, this girl spent ALL of her days in her swimming suit. Whether she was swimming in the pool, running through the sprinklers, or just hanging out in the house, she never took it off.
Jacobs little sister Jana spent a lot of time at our house this summer. We played games, watched movies, and even made yummy treats. She has moved to college now and we miss her like crazy!
Towards the beginning of the summer Jake and I and our friends from Pocatello took our kids to the Hogle Zoo. Always a big hit! It was a great way to start off the summer. Spending time with our Daddy, knowing we wouldn't see him very often.... we were right!
Oh and this sweet girl! She has brought so much joy to our house the last 7 1/2 months. She is so happy all the time! She has been getting so big, I mean, 29 lbs at 7 months. The Dr. was a bit worried that there may be hormone imbalances, but tests came back all clear. Come to find out, she's just CHUBBY! We love every second of her!
This is Jacobs Grandma and Mom. We just had to take a four generation picture!

These two girls are best buds! They love watching eachother and smiling and laughing together. Abby is just getting to the stage where she is interacting more with Quinn so it is so fun watching them together.

Me and Abby just watching Quinn at swim lessons.
Abby has become one of my best shopping buddies. She got to come with me and my in-laws to Salt Lake where we shopped til we dropped. Abby was so good and I loved spending time with her

And this was probably the funnest thing we did all summer! Jacob entered this car into the Oakley Days Racer where he placed 4th out of 30 racers! Pretty good for a first-timer. It was so fun seeing how excited he was. Jacob works so hard everyday, so it was so fun watching him do something for himself that he enjoyed doing. Although it was a little nerve racking for me, because Jacob has no fear, it was so fun cheering for him as he bump into the other racers and pass them up. I was a proud wife!

The second most exciting part of our summer..... our new van! Yes that's right, we upgraded to a van and even though I was sad to say goodbye to my car, I LOVE my new van.

Quinn turned 3 last month! WHAT?! Where has the time gone? She is growing up to be a beautiful little girl. She has so much love to give and has been a great big sister to Abby. She loves to help me cook and she's a great helper with Abby. She likes to test my patience most days, but I love this girl more everyday. She has taught me so much about life and that sometimes we just have to "chill Mom". We had a little birthday party for her and she loved every second of it. She got so many fun presents and got to play with her friends and cousins. She even got to blow out birthday candles, not once, but TWICE. Once at her party, then once the next day(her actual birthday) and she thought that was pretty darn cool. We are blessed with great family and friends who show their love and support to us everyday. Happy Birthday Quinnlee!
